Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Redbridge to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Years specialist who is passionate about supporting children at the very start of their educational journey and creating a nurturing, engaging classroom environment.
The role:
You will take full responsibility for a Reception class, delivering creative, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework. You will support pupilsandrsquo; academic, social, and emotional development, working closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure every child thrives.
The school is looking for someone who:
Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching within Early Years (Reception preferred)
Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
Is nurturing, creative, and committed to child-centred learning
Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Works well as part of a team
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
