Our client is recruiting a Registered Manager to be part of the registration process and help establish and manage their home, a home for young people aged 8 andndash; 17 with Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH) including those with mild Learning Disabilities (MLD).Our client is looking for a strong leader who can demonstrate successful previous achievements in an Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding childrenandrsquo;s home. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and ensuring the highest quality of care and support. Your experience will ideally come with the Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent or a full commitment to complete the qualificationDuties will include: * Working closely with the leadership team to drive successful registration with Ofsted including significant input into recruitment, systems, and policies andamp; procedures * Manage and oversee daily operations of the home * Provide leadership and supervision to your team * Develop and implement high quality care plans and risk assessments to keep our children safe and happy * Ensure compliance with Ofsted and Local Authority requirementsSkills and experience: * Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team * Excellent organisational skills to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of the home * Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures * Ability to supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support as neededRequirements: * Significant experience of working within a similar setting and managing Ofsted inspections * Have preferably already obtained the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or are committed to achieving the qualification * Ideally hold a full UK driving licence * Passion and commitment to making a positive difference to the lives of young people * Resilient and strong communicator * Proactive approach with ideas for continual improvements in all areasBenefits: * andpound;45k to 65k base salary * A career path and development opportunities as the company growsThis is a great opportunity for energetic and creative candidates to be part of the creation of the service.
