Right Search are currently recruiting on behalf of a nursing home based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This is a purpose built nursing home specialising in general nursing and dementia care.

The Nursing Home Manager is seeking a confident Nurse who is RGN or RMN qualified to join their nursing team full-time on days.

Contracted hours can be offered at 36 or 48 hours per week; 3 or 4 shifts per week.

Offering a salary range of -36,504 to -48,673 per annum subject to contracted hours.

As a Staff Nurse you would be required to maintain the highest standards of care in a professional manner through direct nursing and effective supervision of Staff Members.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing and planning nursing care requirements.
• Monitoring and administering medication
• Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures.
• Writing records.
• Supervising junior staff.
• Organising workloads.
• Providing emotional support to patients and relatives.
• Ensuring effective communication between day and night shifts
• Attending MDT meetings.

The candidate:

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Someone who is passionate about person centred care
• Good leadership skills
• Registered Nurse - RGN or RMN qualified
• Nursing home experience desired but not essential
