Revit Technician - Building Services Consultancy
Location: Nottingham
Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Revit Technician to join a well-established Building Services Consultancy, based in Nottingham.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing Revit MEP skills while working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary design environment. You will be supported throughout your professional development and have the opportunity to work across a wide range of projects and sectors.

The Role
You will provide technical support as part of a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Building Services Designers, Building Physicists and Document Controllers, delivering projects from feasibility through to detailed and fully coordinated design across RIBA Stages 0-5.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with Building Services Engineers to produce coordinated drawings
  • Support the delivery of projects within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Coordinate Building Services using Revit MEP
  • Create and amend MEP families, objects, tags and annotations
  • Create legends, schedules and templates
  • Amend drawings using Revit MEP and AutoCAD
  • Deliver project requirements within agreed timescales
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry, regulatory and design standards
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff and apprentices
  • Follow BIM protocols and project standards
  • Liaise professionally with clients, professional teams, contractors and colleagues at all levels
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP and AutoCAD
  • Previous experience within the MEP / Building Services industry or a similar technical role
  • A strong eye for detail and accuracy
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to use initiative and prioritise workload effectively
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • An ONC/HNC or relevant technical qualification would be advantageous
