Science Teacher andndash; Birley Academy, Sheffield
The Supply Register is working in partnership with Birley Academy to recruit a Science Teacher on a flexible supply basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about Science and committed to helping students achieve their full potential across Key Stage 3 and 4.
The role includes:
andbull; Delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
andbull; Planning and adapting lessons to meet learner needs
andbull; Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment
andbull; Assessing, marking, and providing timely feedback
andbull; Managing behaviour in line with school policies
andbull; Collaborating with colleagues across the Science department
Weandrsquo;re looking for candidates who:
andbull; Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
andbull; Have experience teaching Science at secondary level
andbull; Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
andbull; Communicate effectively and professionally
andbull; Hold high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
andbull; Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
