Science Teacher - Secondary School

• Location: OX2, Oxford
• Start Date: Jan 2027 - Easter
• Salary: -DOE per day
• Contract: Temporary, ongoing until Easter (maybe longer)
• Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday

Empowering Learning is seeking a Science Teacher for a "GOOD" secondary school in OX2 to cover a planned absence from Januray until Easter.

The successful applicant will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. In addition to delivering high-quality Science lessons, the role will include providing cover for other subjects when required, ensuring continuity of learning across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Science lessons up to Year 11
• Plan, assess and adapt lessons effectively
• Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
• Build positive relationships with students and staff
• Support student progress and development

Requirements:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Secondary Science teaching experience
• Chemistry specialism preferred but not essential
• Strong classroom management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
