SEMH Teacher
Job Description
Sennen Education are working with a specialist SEMH secondary school looking for a Specialist Teacher. The school supports and cares for children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, individuals on the autism spectrum and young people withandnbsp;ADHD,andnbsp;dyspraxiaandnbsp;andandnbsp;dyslexia.
The successful candidate will play an integral part of the schoolandrsquo;s team who put the children and young people at the centre of everything they do.andnbsp; You will plan, assess and deliver outstanding teaching and learning that enable all young people to learn, whilst ensuring that pastoral needs are met.
You will need to:
- Hold valid QTS or equivalent
- Promote the delivery of outstanding teaching from KS3 to KS4
- Have teaching experience including working with ASC and challenging behaviour, whether in a mainstream or SEN setting
- Be a superb communicator
- Have good behaviour management skills
- Hold an excellent classroom practice to be able to motivate and enable learning in pupils of all abilities and needs.
- Have a clear understanding of the national curriculum or EYFS curriculum.
- Exhibit the ability to adapt and improvise.

We recruit for temporary and permanent positions, by taking a temporary role through Sennen Education you will be paid on a weekly basis.
