TeacherActive is delighted to be working with an exceptional special school that inspires their students every day. This school provides a high standard of education and focuses on secondary students with Autism and MLD needs and provides them with a daily structure and routine to ensure the best learning environment for their individual needs.
The school is looking for a determined SEND QTS with the potential of a permanent position. The successfulandnbsp;SEND QTS will be confident and adaptable in working from Key Stage 3 / KS3 to Key Stage 4 / KS4 helping them to meet their goals. The applicant would also have to be well equipped to deal with challenging behaviours.
andnbsp;The successfulandnbsp;SEND QTStandnbsp;will have the following:
- QTS, ECTs are welcome to apply!
- Experience working with ASD and MLD
- A calm, patient, and caring personality
- A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
- Excellent classroom management
