**SEN Teaching Assistant - Birmingham**

**Location:** Birmingham
**Job Type:** Full-time / Part-time
**Salary:** Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join welcoming schools across Birmingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH, and learning disabilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
* Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
* Implement EHCP targets and behaviour support strategies.
* Promote independence, confidence and positive learning experiences.
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and parents to ensure pupils receive the best possible support.

**Requirements:**

* Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
* A patient, compassionate and positive attitude.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
