Hours: 08:30am andndash; 3:30pm, 5 days a week

Weandrsquo;re seeking dedicated Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistants to support in an SEND provisional unit with children with complex SEND needs such as Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and Behavioural Need. All children within the unit present behaviours that need addressing quickly and confidently. It is essential you are strong, calm, and consistent, with the confidence to follow agreed strategies, apply boundaries fairly, and respond proactively before situations escalate.

Whether you have a background in care, personal experience, or a passion for helping othersandmdash;if you bring empathy, patience, and a resilient mindset, this role could be your next step.

  • Experience working with children or adults with barriers to learning

  • Someone resilient, calm and consistent
  • Understand body language and being proactive in support
  • A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to different needs and learning styles
