Location: Northfield, Birmingham
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: andpound;90 - andpound;105 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary SEND school in Northfield, Birmingham, which has been rated andlsquo;Goodandrsquo; by OFSTED. The school promotes an inclusive and nurturing environment, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including PMLD and SLD.

The school is looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis, with the potential to become long term for the right SEND Teaching Assistant. You will be supporting primary aged pupils with mixed needs, working closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support, manage behaviours, and encourage engagement in learning.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

andbull; Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
andbull; Experience working with children with PMLD, SLD or additional needs
andbull; A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
andbull; Patience, resilience and a calm approach
andbull; A andlsquo;can-doandrsquo; attitude and willingness to support across the classroom
andbull; Strong communication and teamwork skills
