Job Description
A Senior Care Assistant is required at our Clientandrsquo;s fantastic Residential Care facility situated in the coastal town of Redcar.andnbsp; The home offers the highest standards of care where dignity is respected, interests are nurtured and residents are cared for like family.
As aandnbsp;Senior Care Assistant, youandrsquo;ll lead by example and support the team in delivering exceptional care. Your duties will include:
- Assisting residents with personal care and daily living activities.
- Administering medication (after training)
- Supporting care staff and overseeing shifts
- Liaising with families, GPs, and other professionals
- Dealing with emergencies
- Keeping clear and accurate records
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health andamp; Social Care (or working towards it)
- Previous experience in a care home setting
- Supervisory experience
- A kind, patient and reliable personality
- Ability to lead a small team with confidence and warmth
- Good communication skills and a genuine love for elderly care
