Conrad Consulting is delighted to be working with a highly regarded multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy seeking a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join their established Oxford team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced MRICS Building Surveyor looking to take the next step within a well-respected consultancy delivering high-quality professional and project-led services across a wide variety of sectors including education, healthcare, residential, commercial, retail, and public sector estates.

The successful candidate will become a key member of a collaborative team, working on a diverse range of projects from smaller refurbishment schemes through to major developments valued in excess of andpound;30 million.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a broad range of Building Surveying services across multiple sectors
  • Lead on project delivery and contract administration duties
  • Undertake condition surveys, measured surveys, and defect diagnosis reports
  • Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and technical documentation
  • Advise clients on maintenance, refurbishment, repair, and compliance matters
  • Manage dilapidations, Party Wall matters, and planning applications
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and act as lead consultant where required
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support and mentor junior members of the Building Surveying team
  • Ensure high standards of technical quality and service delivery

Requirements

  • MRICS qualified
  • Previous consultancy experience within Building Surveying
  • Strong technical understanding across core Building Surveying disciplines
  • Experience delivering both professional and project work
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Commercial awareness and business development capability
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
  • Full UK driving licence
