Are you an experienced CDM & Health & Safety Consultant looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, is seeking a Senior CDM & Health & Safety Consultant to join their growing Leeds team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects across the real estate and built environment sectors, providing expert CDM and Health & Safety advice to a wide range of clients.

The Role

You'll play a key role in delivering CDM and Health & Safety consultancy services, supporting clients throughout the project lifecycle while ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry best practice. As a trusted advisor, you'll build strong client relationships, lead projects, and contribute to the continued growth of the consultancy's Health & Safety offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver CDM and Health & Safety consultancy services across multiple projects.

  • Undertake the Principal Designer role in accordance with the CDM Regulations.

  • Provide expert advice to clients on their statutory duties and Health & Safety responsibilities.

  • Produce and review Pre-Construction Information and Health & Safety Files.

  • Carry out Health & Safety audits, inspections and performance reviews.

  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring quality, programme and commercial objectives are achieved.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding client service.

  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and enhance service delivery.

About You

You'll be a confident and proactive Health & Safety professional with excellent technical knowledge and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients.

You'll ideally have:

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate.

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent qualification).

  • GradIOSH (or equivalent professional membership).

  • Membership of the Association for Project Safety (APS).

  • Previous experience acting as a Principal Designer.

  • Strong working knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015.

  • Significant experience within the construction industry.

  • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.

  • A full UK driving licence.
