Are you an experienced CDM & Health & Safety Consultant looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, is seeking a Senior CDM & Health & Safety Consultant to join their growing Leeds team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects across the real estate and built environment sectors, providing expert CDM and Health & Safety advice to a wide range of clients.
The Role
You'll play a key role in delivering CDM and Health & Safety consultancy services, supporting clients throughout the project lifecycle while ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry best practice. As a trusted advisor, you'll build strong client relationships, lead projects, and contribute to the continued growth of the consultancy's Health & Safety offering.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver CDM and Health & Safety consultancy services across multiple projects.

Undertake the Principal Designer role in accordance with the CDM Regulations.

Provide expert advice to clients on their statutory duties and Health & Safety responsibilities.

Produce and review Pre-Construction Information and Health & Safety Files.

Carry out Health & Safety audits, inspections and performance reviews.

Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Manage multiple projects, ensuring quality, programme and commercial objectives are achieved.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding client service.

Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and enhance service delivery.
About You
You'll be a confident and proactive Health & Safety professional with excellent technical knowledge and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients.
You'll ideally have:

NEBOSH Construction Certificate.

NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent qualification).
-
GradIOSH (or equivalent professional membership).
-
Membership of the Association for Project Safety (APS).
-
Previous experience acting as a Principal Designer.

Strong working knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015.

Significant experience within the construction industry.

Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.

A full UK driving licence.
