FINTEC recruit is supporting hiring for a Senior Cost Engineer/Controller, working on large infrastructure projects.andnbsp; This role is permanent working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, based in Brighton.andnbsp; Salary is up to circa andpound;60,000 plus benefits/bonus and hybrid working opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing cost control and forecasting on key projects and forecasts aligned to project cost breakdown structure (CBS) and all in line with NEC contract conditions.
• Cost management throughout the project lifecycle with detailed analysis of costs and assessing and monitoring changes in year and overall project Estimate at Completion (EAC).
• Update project forecasts to maintain an accurate and comprehensive Estimate to Complete (ETC)
• Produce monthly cost reports, including cost performance analysis, variances, trends, forecasts and contingency drawdown.
• Management (EVM) and Cost Performance Index (CPI).
• Conduct reviews of contractor cost reports and application for payments, working collaboratively with partners
• Contribute to and support the Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA) process.

Skills and Experience required for the Senior Cost Engineer/Controller role:

• Have extensive experience of working in a cost management role within large-scale infrastructure of similar projects with knowledge of NEC contracts
• Degree qualified (not essential) andnbsp;in a relevant field such as Civil Engineering, Quantify Surveying, andnbsp;Finance
• Hold Professional certification such as AACE, AMP, AcostE
• Strong analytical and numerical capability
• Experience of working within a regulatory framework
• Expert user of Cost Management software such as prism, Hexagon EcoSys, Excel
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence toandnbsp;work closely with senior project leaders.
