Senior ECandamp;I Engineer


Nuclear Manufacturing Company | Near Manchester
Up to -51.40 per hour | Outside IR35
4-Day Working Week (4 x 10-hour days)
A specialist nuclear manufacturing company near Manchester is looking for a Senior ECandamp;I Engineer to support the design and delivery of complex engineering projects within a highly regulated environment.
This role will involve working on specialist systems and equipment, including gloveboxes and similar containment solutions, supporting projects from concept through to manufacture and commissioning.



Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver ECandamp;I design activities across concept, scheme and detailed design stages
  • Produce and support technical documentation for UKCA / CE Marking compliance
  • Ensure designs meet applicable safety standards and engineering regulations
  • Support multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project delivery
  • Provide technical support during manufacture, testing and commissioning


What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience with UKCA / CE Marking
  • Experience within regulated engineering industries
  • Glovebox or similar specialist equipment experience highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of PUWER, LOLER, CDM and machinery safety regulations
  • Strong technical documentation and design capability
  • Nuclear experience preferred, but not essential
  • Security clearance preferred, or ability to obtain clearance required


Working Arrangement

  • 4-day working week (4 x 10-hour days)
  • Minimum 2 days in the office, ideally 3
  • Long-term contract opportunity
  • Outside IR35
