We are excited to be working with a large charity based in the Wirral that is looking to recruit to a newly created role of Senior Finance Business Partner. The role will join a talented finance team and provide strategic financial leadership for the charityandrsquo;s income division ensuring that all income generating activities are financially sustainable, well managed and aligned with the organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to maximise income across all funding streams, including commissioned services, grants, contracts, and traded activities.
- Evaluate and optimise pricing models and fee structures to ensure financial viability and competitiveness.
- Provide strategic insight to senior leadership on emerging income opportunities, market trends, and commercial risks.
- Act as finance partner for operational leaders across the income division, providing highand#8209;quality financial insight, challenge, and support.
- Support operational teams in understanding financial drivers, KPIs, and performance metrics, translating complex financial information into actionable insight.
- Drive the digitisation of financial processes within the income division, championing automation, workflow improvements, and system optimisation.
- Maximise the use of Power BI and other analytical tools to enhance reporting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and longand#8209;term financial planning processesandnbsp;for the income division.
- Produce highand#8209;quality monthly reporting, variance analysis, and commentary for senior leadership and trustees.
- Provide scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis, and financial evaluations to support strategic decisions and business cases.
Successful Candidate Profile:
- It is essential you are a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ CIMA or CIPFA).
- Proven finance business partnering skills.
- Have proven experience of managing a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and a positive, energetic attitude.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
