Senior Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
Salary: £70,000 - £90,000
Car Allowance: Circa -8,000
Bonus: 5-7% below target, 10-15% on target, 20-30% above target
An established residential developer based in Essex is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple residential schemes across Essex, Hertfordshire and North London, including both RC Frame and traditional build developments.
RC Frame experience is essential.
Responsibilities
- Commercial management of multiple residential schemes
- Procurement and management of subcontract packages
- Cost reporting, valuations and forecasting
- Managing variations and subcontractor accounts
- Working closely with site, technical and buying teams
- Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and commercial targets
Requirements
- Strong residential development experience
- Previous experience working on RC Frame schemes
- Proven experience managing projects from procurement through to completion
- Confident managing multiple developments at different stages
- Strong commercial and subcontractor management skills
The business has an established commercial team across quantity surveying, buying and estimating, with further recruitment planned as the workload continues to grow.
This is an office and site-based role in Essex, with travel to developments as required. No hybrid working.
