Pure Fabs is an award-winning manufacturer of DW144 andamp; Fire Rated Ductwork, supplying to the Mandamp;E Sector across the UK from our modern facility on Bridge Street, Horwich. Our product range covers rectangular ducting, fire rated ductwork and smoke extract systems andmdash; all manufactured in-house to the highest standards.

Role
We are looking for an accomplished fabricator with extensive hands-on experience and deep trade knowledge to join our skilled team at our Horwich workshop. We want someone who has seen it all, takes real pride in the quality of their work, and is ready to bring that experience and expertise to a forward-thinking, busy workshop.
You will be comfortable reading and working from drawings, operating independently or as part of a team, and happy to share your expertise with our apprentices and semi-skilled colleagues. You will be fabricating ductwork in line with DW144 specification, as well as supporting the manufacture of fire rated ductwork.
What you will be doing
- Hands-on fabrication of sheet metal ductwork to drawing and specification
- Operating workshop machinery including Coil Line, CNC plasma, lock formers and other standard ductwork equipment
- Working independently and as part of a team to meet production schedules
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications accurately
- Setting a positive example for apprentices and semi-skilled colleagues in quality, safety and workmanship
- Contributing to our Continuous Improvement culture by raising ideas and flagging issues
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times
- Supporting quality checks on fabricated items prior to dispatch
What weandrsquo;re looking for
Essential:
- An accomplished fabricator with extensive hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Solid ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Proven experience working to high quality standards and tight tolerances
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proactive, tidy and self-motivated andmdash; someone who takes ownership of their work
- Prepared to pass knowledge on to apprentices and less experienced colleagues
- A commitment to safe working practices
- Prior experience with ductwork manufacturing (Coil Line, CNC plasma, lock formers)
- Experience working to DW144 standards
Desirable:

- Experience fabricating fire rated ductwork
- Experience working in a Lean or Continuous Improvement environment

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am andndash; 4:00pm (with three breaks)
Friday: 7:00am andndash; 1:00pm (with one break)
Total: 37.5 hours per week
