A well-established and highly regarded structural engineering consultancy in Exeter is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join its growing team.

The Structural Engineer role;
You will play an important role in the delivery of structural engineering projects, providing technical expertise, mentoring junior engineers and contributing to client relationships. The position can be tailored to suit your experience and preferred working pattern.
Responsibilities may include:
- Structural design and project delivery across a range of sectors.
- Reviewing and checking engineering calculations and drawings.
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
- Attending client meetings and supporting business development activities.
- Conducting site visits and structural inspections where required.
- Assisting with quality assurance and technical reviews.
About You
- Significant experience within a structural engineering consultancy environment.
- Chartered status (MIStructE or MICE) is desirable but not essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of structural design using traditional construction materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- An interest in mentoring and sharing knowledge with the next generation of engineers.
