Carrington West are pleased to be working with a well established growing consultancy based in Rugby who are offering an excellent opportunity for a Town Planner. This role offers the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, with a particular focus on commercial and rural developments.
The Role
You will be involved in a broad range of planning activities, supporting projects from initial appraisal through to submission and delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
andmiddot;Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
andmiddot;Providing planning advice to clients across commercial and rural projects
andmiddot;Managing project timelines and liaising with stakeholders
andmiddot;Supporting senior team members on complex planning schemes
andmiddot;Conducting site appraisals and planning research
Requirements
andmiddot;Previous experience in a Town Planning role (private or public sector considered)
andmiddot;Ideally MRTPI Chartered (or working towards)
andmiddot;Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and regulations
andmiddot;Excellent communication and organisational skills
andmiddot;Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Location and Working Style
andmiddot;Based in Rugby
andmiddot;Primarily office-based, with some flexibility available
