NEOS Engineering are currently working with a growing and well-respected machinery dealer who are looking to appoint an experienced Service Manager to lead their aftersales and engineering function.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Service Manager who understands heavy plant machinery and thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.
The Role
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full service operation including workshop and field engineers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and developing a team of service engineers
- Overseeing workshop and field service scheduling
- Ensuring high levels of customer service and SLA delivery
- Driving service revenue, profitability and utilisation
- Managing warranty processes and technical support
- Maintaining high standards of health andamp; safety and compliance
- Working closely with parts and sales departments to ensure seamless customer support
The Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong experience within heavy plant / construction machinery
- Has previously managed workshop and/or field service teams
- Is commercially aware and understands service Pandamp;L performance
- Has strong organisational and leadership skills
- Is confident dealing with customers and resolving technical issues
- Comes from a mechanical and/or electrical engineering background
