NEOS Engineering are currently working with a growing and well-respected machinery dealer who are looking to appoint an experienced Service Manager to lead their aftersales and engineering function.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Service Manager who understands heavy plant machinery and thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.

The Role

As Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full service operation including workshop and field engineers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and developing a team of service engineers
  • Overseeing workshop and field service scheduling
  • Ensuring high levels of customer service and SLA delivery
  • Driving service revenue, profitability and utilisation
  • Managing warranty processes and technical support
  • Maintaining high standards of health andamp; safety and compliance
  • Working closely with parts and sales departments to ensure seamless customer support

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong experience within heavy plant / construction machinery
  • Has previously managed workshop and/or field service teams
  • Is commercially aware and understands service Pandamp;L performance
  • Has strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Is confident dealing with customers and resolving technical issues
  • Comes from a mechanical and/or electrical engineering background
