  • Toandnbsp;lead one ofandnbsp;theandnbsp;following areas ofandnbsp;multi-agencyandnbsp;Childrensandnbsp;Social Care:
    • Integrated Referral Hub
    • Child Assessment Team service
    • Familyandnbsp;Supportandnbsp;and Child Protection Service (x2)
    • Children with Disabilities
    • Children Lookedandnbsp;After
    • 16+ Independence
    • Fosteringandnbsp;andandnbsp;Permanency
    • Qualityandnbsp;Assuranceandnbsp;(IROs and CP chairs)
  • Leading the dayandnbsp;to dayandnbsp;operational business ofandnbsp;the teamsandnbsp;inandnbsp;theandnbsp;service areaandnbsp;promoting theandnbsp;bestandnbsp;interestsandnbsp;of children in accordance with the statutoryandnbsp;frameworkandnbsp;ensuring aandnbsp;prompt and efficient responseandnbsp;toandnbsp;all contactsandnbsp;andandnbsp;referralsandnbsp;andandnbsp;thedeliveryandnbsp;ofandnbsp;goodandnbsp;outcomesandnbsp;forandnbsp;children youngandnbsp;peopleandnbsp;andandnbsp;families,
  • Throughandnbsp;managementandnbsp;ofandnbsp;staff andandnbsp;resources ensureandnbsp;that services areandnbsp;delivered inandnbsp;accordance with theandnbsp;Governmentandnbsp;policy,andnbsp;(keeping upandnbsp;to date with newandnbsp;proposalsandnbsp;andandnbsp;initiatives)andnbsp;legislation,andnbsp;council polices and departmental procedures andandnbsp;that these areandnbsp;customer-focusedandnbsp;and ofandnbsp;theandnbsp;highest possibleandnbsp;quality
  • Provide leadership toandnbsp;frontline staffandnbsp;inandnbsp;deliveringandnbsp;and implementing anyandnbsp;futureandnbsp;changesandnbsp;in policies,andnbsp;procedure orandnbsp;other developments.
  • Toandnbsp;supportandnbsp;the Director and Assistantandnbsp;Directorsandnbsp;byandnbsp;advisingandnbsp;on strategy,andnbsp;policyandnbsp;andandnbsp;future direction ofandnbsp;the service,andnbsp;ensuring effectiveandnbsp;feedback andandnbsp;translation intoandnbsp;serviceandnbsp;delivery.andnbsp;Keepandnbsp;senior management informed ofandnbsp;anyandnbsp;issuesandnbsp;or shortfallsandnbsp;in serviceandnbsp;providingandnbsp;suitable actionandnbsp;plansandnbsp;to addressandnbsp;theseandnbsp;matters.
  • Toandnbsp;have lead responsibilityandnbsp;forandnbsp;meeting the performanceandnbsp;targets ofandnbsp;theandnbsp;service areaandnbsp;and toandnbsp;report theseandnbsp;toandnbsp;managersandnbsp;and staffandnbsp;asandnbsp;required
  • Toandnbsp;manageandnbsp;budgetsandnbsp;andandnbsp;expenditureandnbsp;so asandnbsp;toandnbsp;ensureandnbsp;that resourcesandnbsp;areandnbsp;optimised.andnbsp;Inandnbsp;line with eligibilityandnbsp;criteria and priority levelsandnbsp;as prescribed in assessment and careandnbsp;managementandnbsp;policies and procedures,andnbsp;financialandnbsp;regulations,andnbsp;ensuring valueandnbsp;forandnbsp;money.
