Weandrsquo;re offering an exciting opportunity to for a Shift Leader (Electrical Bias) to join a leading building services provider on a large commercial office in Southwark. This role is perfect for a Shift Leader engineer who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a close-knit team, and is eager to progress their career with a reputable and supportive company.

As a Shift Leader youandrsquo;ll be responsible for maintaining and optimising all electrical plant and equipment across the site. Youandrsquo;ll carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, ensuring systems run safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with current regulations.

Youandrsquo;ll be working on a continental shift pattern (days and nights), offering variety and excellent earning potential through overtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver PPM and reactive maintenance across all electrical systems
  • Work on single and three-phase systems, motors, pumps, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and BMS controls
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently and safely
  • Carry out isolations and ensure safe working practices at all times
  • Complete RAMS, logbooks, and maintenance records accurately
  • Use a PDA system for job management and reporting
  • Maintain strong client relationships through professional and proactive service delivery
About You:
  • Fully qualified Electrical Engineer (City andamp; Guilds, NVQ, EAL or equivalent)
  • Up to date with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Minimum 3 yearsandrsquo; experience within commercial building services
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and building infrastructure
  • Confident, client-facing, and a strong team player
