Job Title: Shift Team Leader

Salary - -65,000

We are proud to be working in partnership with industrial-processing plant-at the forefront of efficent and safe production. Following an internal promotion, we are now seeking an experienced Shift Team Leader to join their operations team.

Key Responsibilities -

• Providing day-to-day leadership and oversight of the shift operations team, ensuring the plant is operated safely, reliably, and efficiently.
• Maintaining plant performance within defined operating limits while ensuring full compliance with all HSE legislation, company policies, and site procedures.
• Overseeing site safety systems, including the permit-to-work process, and acting as a High Voltage Senior Authorised Person responsible for issuing permits, carrying out switching operations, and managing isolations.
• Offering technical guidance and supervision to both in-house and contractor personnel as required.
• Delivering effective training, coaching, and performance monitoring of shift staff to ensure all personnel are competent and authorised to carry out their responsibilities.
• Ensuring the correct implementation, administration, and continuous application of safe systems of work and health and safety policies.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience working in a process driven environment - Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil and Gas, Energy From Waste, Power Station's, CCGT, Nuclear or Similar Indusrty
• A minimum of an engineering level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
• High Voltage Senior Authorised Person status, which would be a strong advantage.
• A recognised health and safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH (preferred).
