Manufacturing Warehouse Team Leader (Nights)

Role Overview the Warehouse Team Leader (Nights) is responsible for supervising a specific team within the warehouse, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. This role reports to the Shift Leader and focuses on frontline team performance and task execution.

Key Responsibilities

andbull; Supervise a team of warehouse operatives during the night shift

andbull; Allocate daily tasks such as picking, packing, loading, or replenishment

andbull; Monitor individual and team performance, ensuring productivity targets are met

andbull;Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and support to team members

andbull; Ensure adherence to health & safety procedures at all times

andbull; Maintain accuracy in stock handling and order fulfilment

andbull; Report any issues, delays, or concerns to the Shift Leader promptly

andbull; Assist in resolving minor operational problems within the team

andbull; Conduct team briefings and ensure clear communication of daily objectives

andbull; Promote a positive and motivated team environment

Skills & Experience

andbull; Experience working in a warehouse environment (supervisory experience preferred)

andbull; Strong communication and interpersonal skills

andbull; Ability to motivate and manage a small team

andbull; Good organisational skills and attention to detail

andbull; Basic problem-solving ability

andbull; Understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices

andbull; Ability to work night shifts consistently

andbull; MHE Trained (counterbalance/Bendi) andbull; First Aid trained

Shifts/Working Hours: work 4 over 7 Days, 12-hour Shifts, weeks run from Sunday Saturday for operational purposes

Shift pattern

Week 1

Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday

Week 2

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
