Site Manager

We are looking to recruit a Site Managerandnbsp;for our newandnbsp;and exciting schemes, overseeing of day to day running of the project.

Works are to be completed on time, on budget and in line with Health and Safety standards. You will report to the contracts manager.

Schemes range in value from andpound;100K - andpound;1.5Mandnbsp;the larger schemes would involve the running of the site only. The smaller schemes may involve an element of minor working on site while running the project.

Site Manager Qualifications:

andmiddot; 5+ years expereince working for a Main Contractor in a similar capacity.

andmiddot; Experience in delivering commercial schemes, within various sectors.

andmiddot; SMSTS essential

andmiddot; CSCS essential

andmiddot; First aid essential

andmiddot; Experience of working with multiple sub contractors

andmiddot; Experience with refurbishments and extensions.

andmiddot; Full UK Driving Licence

Site Manager Skills:

andmiddot; The ability to manage andamp; co-ordinate multiple sub contractors

andmiddot; PC Literate

andmiddot; Good level of commercial awareness

andmiddot; Excellent problem-solving skills

andmiddot; Excellent communication, presentation, management, and negotiation skills

andmiddot; Experience with all trades andndash; groundworks, steelworks, electrical, mechanical, carpenters, general trades.

andmiddot; Ability to interpret drawings and identify any issues or problems with design.

andmiddot; Experience with construction programmes with the ability to monitor and assess site progress

andmiddot; Clean driving license.

andmiddot; Good organisational skills.

andmiddot; Self-motivated, driven and a team player.

Site Manager Roles and responsibility:

andmiddot; Supplying information to resolve any on site issues

andmiddot; Manage direct employees and subcontract labour

andmiddot; Manage material supply call-offs

andmiddot; Promote and ensure quality of sub-contract work as projects progress

andmiddot; Identifying areas for improvement (if required)

andmiddot; Review construction drawings

andmiddot; Liaise with Design co-ordinator andamp; consultants when required to overcome site problems

andmiddot; Ensure the Handamp;S and presentation of sites are compliant and to a level acceptable to the client

andmiddot; Handamp;S audits and ensure all RAMS are reviewed and up to date at all times

andmiddot; Provide support/advice for construction programming

andmiddot; Monitor actual site progress to the latest programme and report back to the contracts manager.

andmiddot; Monitor outstanding information required to complete the works and ensuring this is provided in sufficient time to avoid delay being caused to the site works

andmiddot; Maintain client relations.

andmiddot; Continuous overview of all sub contractors to ensure that build targets are met.

andmiddot; Providing site feedback to allow monthly project reporting.
