Bennett andamp; Game Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established and highly regarded structural steel contractor, delivering complex projects across aviation, rail, infrastructure, and specialist structures both across the UK and internationally.

Operating within high-profile environments such as Heathrow Airport, alongside rail upgrades and bespoke structural projects, our client has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality steelwork where precision, coordination, and leadership are critical.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team on projects around Heathrow.

Role Overview

This is a key leadership role where you will take full responsibility for site delivery. You will be at the forefront of operations, managing teams, coordinating logistics, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead steel erection teams and oversee daily site operations
  • Develop and implement RAMS, lift plans, sequencing, and daily briefings
  • Manage site logistics including deliveries, plant, and equipment
  • Monitor progress and ensure works are delivered in line with programme
  • Drive health andamp; safety, quality, and compliance on site
  • Act as the main point of contact between the client, Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and subcontractors

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing steelwork or complex construction sites
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • SMSTS and CSCS essential (Appointed Person experience advantageous)
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively
