Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager / Project Manager to lead the delivery of key infrastructure works at Pembroke Substation. This is a hybrid role with flexibility on location, and we are open to candidates based in Bridgend, Kent, Hampshire, or surrounding areas. Travel expenses will be covered where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage site operations for substation / energy infrastructure projects
- Oversee project delivery from initiation through to completion
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Maintain strong client relationships, particularly within National Grid frameworks
- Ensure full compliance with NEC contract requirements
- Drive commercial awareness across project delivery
- Attend and lead project meetings, reporting progress and risks
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Senior Site Manager or Project Manager role
- Strong background in substation, utilities, or infrastructure projects
- Experience working with National Grid (highly desirable)
- Solid understanding and experience with NEC contracts
- Strong commercial awareness and cost control capability
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
