We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Speech and Language Therapy professional to join a dedicated team of lecturers and inspire the next generation of learners.

Role Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Speech and Language Therapy, communication development, and related health and social care programmes.
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities to support student achievement, progression, and professional development.
- Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring content reflects current clinical practice, communication therapy approaches, and sector standards.
- Support students in developing knowledge of speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN), assessment methods, and intervention strategies.
- Promote understanding of inclusive communication practices, safeguarding, and person-centred care.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Develop links with healthcare providers, schools, NHS services, and therapy organisations to support placements and industry engagement.
- Support learners in building confidence, employability skills, and readiness for progression into higher study or clinical practice roles.
Essential Requirements
- Degree or Level 5/6 qualification in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field.
- HCPC registration (or eligibility to register).
- Significant clinical experience in speech and language therapy, communication support, or related healthcare settings.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication development and intervention strategies.
- Ability to support learners with diverse educational needs in a vocational or academic setting.
