Role Details:
- Job Title: Stores Operative
- Location: Warrington
- Salary: Up to -29,064 per annum DOE
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 07:00 and 17:00
Key Responsibilities of the Stores Operative:
- Pick, pack, and dispatch OEM spare parts accurately for internal teams and external customers
- Carry out regular stock checks and maintain inventory accuracy
- Prepare, label, and ship orders in line with company and carrier standards
- Inspect parts for damage or defects prior to dispatch
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks
- Maintain all relevant paperwork and electronic records
- Work closely with the team to ensure timely order fulfilment
Ideal Candidate Stores Operative:
- Previous experience in a parts, warehouse, or stores environment
- Comfortable working at height and operating high bay aisle pickers
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Forklift licence (counterbalance) desirable but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality
- Able to work independently, using initiative to solve problems
- Willing to work outdoors and flexible with shift patterns and overtime
