Role Details:

  • Job Title: Stores Operative
  • Location: Warrington
  • Salary: Up to -29,064 per annum DOE
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 07:00 and 17:00

Key Responsibilities of the Stores Operative:

  • Pick, pack, and dispatch OEM spare parts accurately for internal teams and external customers
  • Carry out regular stock checks and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Prepare, label, and ship orders in line with company and carrier standards
  • Inspect parts for damage or defects prior to dispatch
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks
  • Maintain all relevant paperwork and electronic records
  • Work closely with the team to ensure timely order fulfilment

Ideal Candidate Stores Operative:

  • Previous experience in a parts, warehouse, or stores environment
  • Comfortable working at height and operating high bay aisle pickers
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Forklift licence (counterbalance) desirable but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality
  • Able to work independently, using initiative to solve problems
  • Willing to work outdoors and flexible with shift patterns and overtime
