The roleandhellip;andnbsp;

The Strategic Account Manager will be based in the UK, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key clients across EMEA, as well as developingandnbsp;new salesandnbsp;within a defined territory.andnbsp;

The position will include responsibility for leading the overall sales process and client management for the designated portfolio of clients and territory. Clients will include Asset Management and Buyside firms includingandnbsp;large asset managers,andnbsp;pension funds, hedge funds, private banks,andnbsp;wealthandnbsp;managersandnbsp;and investment management companies.andnbsp;andnbsp;You will be working alongside an international sales andandnbsp;analyst team, providing market and data insights as well as global macro and geopolitical perspectives to some of Europeand#39;s largest asset managers.andnbsp;

Whatandnbsp;youandrsquo;llandnbsp;be doingandhellip;andnbsp;

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of existing clients across EMEA.andnbsp;

  • Identifyandnbsp;new business opportunities within existing accounts, including upselling and cross-selling, and new logo accounts.andnbsp;

  • Developing client relationships with multiple contacts acrossandnbsp;organisations, understanding client needs, uncoveringandnbsp;new salesandnbsp;opportunities, and positioningandnbsp;GlobalDataandrsquo;sandnbsp;services appropriately.andnbsp;

  • Managing the end-to-end sales process, developing leads, phone-led sales, andandnbsp;in-personandnbsp;meetings.andnbsp;

  • Consistently exceeding set targets,andnbsp;maintainingandnbsp;accurateandnbsp;forecasts in Salesforce, and effective communication with management.andnbsp;

Whatandnbsp;weandrsquo;reandnbsp;looking forandhellip;andnbsp;

  • At leastandnbsp;5-7andnbsp;years of Client Account Management / Business Development / Sales experience.andnbsp;

  • Proven success at overachieving targets and developing trusted client relationships.andnbsp;

  • Previousandnbsp;industry experience may include Data Sales, Business Information, Financial Services, or other B2B professional services sold in an annual agreement / ongoing relationship manner.andnbsp;

  • Motivated self-starter who wants to take their career to the next level.andnbsp;

  • Outstanding verbal,andnbsp;written,andnbsp;and presentation skills.andnbsp;

  • Fluency in English is essential, withandnbsp;additionalandnbsp;languages desirableandnbsp;
