We are looking for an enthusiastic Structural Engineer to join a busy team in a stunning Cornwall location. The right candidate will ideally have a minimum of 3-4 years post-graduation experience following completion of a degree recognised by the IStructE or ICE.
This practice has a talented team covering structural engineering and architecture and work with architects across the region as well as a number of highly respected London based firms.
Experience with design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, Robot etc. will be beneficial.
Responsibilities:

You will work in an engineering team producing calculations, drawings and details for projects ranging from small domestic alterations to multi million pound-new builds. Working independently as well as part of a team, depending on the project. Good communication is essential, as well as a practical approach and construction knowledge.-A driving license and own transport are essential.

- Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and other design teams
- Running your own projects
- Developing your existing design abilities while learning new skills such as project management
- Managing a team of Graduate Engineers and Technicians
- Producing design packages in all traditional materials including; steel, RC, timber and masonry
- Attending company and industry networking events
- Structural surveys and report writing
