We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh sandwiches, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills within a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. Prior experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, good time management skills, and a positive attitude.

Duties

andbull; Prepare customised sandwiches and salads according to customer specifications while adhering to food safety standards

andbull; Serve customers efficiently with a friendly and professional approach

andbull; Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including counters, utensils, and equipment

andbull; Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts

andbull; Upsell additional menu items to maximise sales opportunities

andbull; Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and hygiene standards

andbull; Manage cash register operations accurately and efficiently

andbull; Assist in opening or closing the store as required, ensuring all procedures are followed

Skills

andbull; Experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not essential

andbull; Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards

andbull; Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients

andbull; Previous kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous

andbull; Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment

andbull; Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours

andbull; Ability to upsell products confidently to enhance customer experience and sales performance

andbull; Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills

andbull; Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
