Permanent | -50K - -55K per Annum + Excellent PRP + Car Allowance

PSR Solutions are proud to be working in partnership with a highly respected care provider to work in the Weymouth, Dorset area to recruit a Support Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced leader to, drive excellence, implementing policies and procedures and ensure the highest standards of care for residents, across multiple care homes.

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to provide leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and support and mentor home managers and staff. Your expertise will directly influence both the quality of care and the operational success of each home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and manage teams to deliver exceptional resident care aligned with the organisation's vision and values.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor care home managers and staff, fostering a positive, supportive, and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Oversee financial and business performance, including budgeting, reporting, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Ensure all homes meet and maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and enhance the quality of care, implementing improvements to maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, regulators, and external stakeholders.
  • Implement systems to track performance, measure outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.

Skills andamp; Attributes

  • Qualified Nurse - desirable not essential
  • Proven track record in managing a care home or similar healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, regulation, and financial management in the care sector.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of best practice in elderly care.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
