Smart Education is currently recruiting SEN Teachers (including general class teachers and subject specialists) to work across a range of specialist SEN schools in Birmingham.
We have a variety of opportunities available, from flexible day-to-day cover to long-term placements, supporting pupils with a wide range of needs including ASD, SEMH, PMLD, SLD and complex learning difficulties.

Job requirements:
andbull; Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
andbull; Experience working within a UK school setting
andbull; SEN experience is essential
andbull; Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
andbull; Ability to differentiate learning to meet complex needs
andbull; Enhanced Child or Child/Adult DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
andbull; Ability for us to obtain 24 months of recent references

Role responsibilities:
andbull; Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
andbull; Support pupils with a range of additional and complex needs
andbull; Manage behaviour and create a positive learning environment
andbull; Work collaboratively with support staff and SEN teams
andbull; Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
