  • Contract: Full-time

  • Daily rate: -150.00 - -220.00 (dependent on experience)

Premier Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Oldham. This is a full-time, temporary role beginning in April and continuing through to the end of the academic year in July.

This position offers the opportunity to be part of a supportive and collaborative humanities department, delivering high-quality Geography lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

About the role:

You will play a key role in delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support student progress and achievement. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will contribute to maintaining a positive learning environment and high standards across the department.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering creative and effective Geography lessons

  • Monitoring and assessing student progress in line with school expectations

  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Differentiating lessons to meet a range of learning needs

  • Supporting departmental planning and curriculum delivery

  • Adhering to school policies and safeguarding procedures

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

  • Previous experience teaching Geography within a secondary school

  • Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum

  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A passion for teaching and engaging young people

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
