SEN Teaching Assistant andndash; Long-Term, Temporary
St Gregoryandrsquo;s Primary School, Bolton
In partnership with The Supply Register andamp; STOCCAT Schools
St Gregoryandrsquo;s Primary School in Bolton is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team on a long-term temporary basis. This position is being recruited through The Supply Register, in partnership with STOCCAT schools.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and committed individual who has proven experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and is confident working both 1:1 and with small groups.
Key Responsibilities:Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN needs.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCPs and individual learning plans.
Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.
Support pupilsandrsquo; academic, social, and emotional development.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Proven experience working with children with SEN (essential).
Strong understanding of a range of additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH).
Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning.
Long-term temporary role within a welcoming primary school.
