The Role

This position is ideal for a calm and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant who enjoys helping pupils overcome barriers to learning. You will play a vital role in fostering positive behaviour and engagement throughout the school day and encouraging confidence and emotional development among pupils.

Role Responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils as a SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Delivering behaviour and learning interventions
  • Building positive, consistent relationships with pupils
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to support learning
  • Encouraging confidence and emotional development

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months' experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour
  • Enhanced Child or Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
  • Ability to provide references covering the previous 24 months

Location and Package

This role is based in Sutton Coldfield, offering £95.00 - £109.25 per day. The contract starts on 1st September 2026.
