Now Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated learning mentor for an Alternative Provision in Nuneaton catering for 6-11 year olds.
This role has huge potential to go permanent, whilst with the agency.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a learning mentor in secondary schools.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and group support to key stage 1-4 students in need of learning mentor
- Help develop strategies to overcome learning barriers
- Promote emotional wellbeing and resilience
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in school life
- Have excellent behaviour management
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with SEN
- Experience within a similar setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational trends
