Now Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated learning mentor for an Alternative Provision in Nuneaton catering for 6-11 year olds.

This role has huge potential to go permanent, whilst with the agency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a learning mentor in secondary schools.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and group support to key stage 1-4 students in need of learning mentor
  • Help develop strategies to overcome learning barriers
  • Promote emotional wellbeing and resilience
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in school life
  • Have excellent behaviour management

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with SEN
  • Experience within a similar setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational trends
