Thrive Personnel ltd are looking for a Technical Production Operative to join our client a leading FMCG manufacturer in Leeds.

The Technical Production Operative is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of production machinery and equipment within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing environment. This role involves troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring production targets are met while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

* Operate and monitor production machinery, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.

* Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on equipment, following established procedures.

* Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and work with maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly.

* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.

* Maintain accurate production records and report any deviations or issues to the supervisor.

* Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.

* Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work environment.

* Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Qualifications:

*- -High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree preferred.

* Proven experience operating and maintaining production machinery in an FMCG environment.

* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

* Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing setting.

* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

This is a permanent role working days Monday to Friday.
