DIAGNOSTIC TECHNICIAN
Location: Weymouth
Salary: Up to £36,000 Basic Salary + Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm | No Weekend Working
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

THE ROLE
As a Diagnostic Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out advanced diagnostics, servicing, and repair work while ensuring every vehicle is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
andmiddot;Diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
andmiddot;Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work
andmiddot;Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify vehicle issues
andmiddot;Supporting fellow technicians with technical guidance when required
andmiddot;Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality standards
andmiddot;Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards
andmiddot;Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards
andmiddot;Delivering excellent customer satisfaction through first-time fix quality

ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
andmiddot;Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician within the automotive industry
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
andmiddot;Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
andmiddot;Experience using modern manufacturer diagnostic equipment
andmiddot;A genuine desire to continue learning and progressing within the industry
andmiddot;Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
andmiddot;A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
andmiddot;Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
