Carrington West are pleased to be working with an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner to join a well-established and growing private planning consultancy based in Cardiff. The company has offices across the UK and works on a diverse portfolio of projects including residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic land developments.
This role offers the chance to work within a collaborative and supportive team while gaining exposure to a wide variety of planning projects.
The Role
As a Town Planner, you will support the delivery of planning projects and provide professional planning advice to clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
andmiddot;Conducting planning research and policy reviews
andmiddot;Preparing planning reports and supporting documents
andmiddot;Liaising with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders
andmiddot;Supporting senior planners on a range of projects
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
andmiddot;Experience within a private planning consultancy or relevant planning environment
andmiddot;A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline
andmiddot;MRTPI status or working towards chartership
andmiddot;Strong written and verbal communication skills
andmiddot;A proactive and collaborative approach to work
