Recruit Assist have an exciting opportunity, for an experienced Transport Manager, to join my pallet network client in North London.

Salary: -45 to -50k
Job Title: Company Transport Manager

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 7am to 330pm

Main responsibilities:

• Managing the company-fleet of vehicles
• Arranging maintenance, servicing and repairs
• O License responsibility
• Previous experience of HGV1, HGV2, 7.5T and Van fleets
• Responsible for the supply chain that leads into the transport department
• Managing drivers-
• Keeping tight control of costs and risk
• Reporting to the MD on KPI

Candidate requirements:

• 3 years as a- Transport Manager
• Experience of working within the Pallet network (ideal)
• Qualified Transport Manager
• Confident and strong managerial skills-
• Experience of recruiting, training, and supporting drivers
• ACAS principles
