Job Description

Quantum Scholars are currently seeking experienced tutors to work with pupils receiving Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS) provision in Wokingham and the surrounding areas.

These roles involve delivering 1:1 tuition to pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education, often due to additional needs such as autism, SEMH, behavioural challenges, or medical needs. Tuition may take place in a variety of settings including the pupil's home, community venues, or local learning spaces.

We are looking for tutors who can provide engaging, supportive and personalised learning to help pupils re-engage with education and make meaningful progress.

Role details:

  • 1:1 tutoring for pupils outside of mainstream school

  • Flexible part-time hours

  • Sessions typically take place during school hours

  • Opportunities available across Wokingham and nearby areas

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) strongly preferred

  • Experience working with pupils with additional needs such as autism or SEMH

  • Strong behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Right to work in the UK

Pay will be dependent on experience.
