Job Description
We are representing a reputable franchise-approved dealership in Cardiff that is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. This Vehicle Technician position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a professional environment, with an emphasis on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Carry out fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
  • Ensure all work complies with company and franchise standards
  • Accurately diagnose faults and report vehicle condition, safety, and performance to the Service Manager
  • Maintain high standards of quality and safety during all service and repair tasks
  • Adhere to all operational procedures and health and safety requirements
  • Support team members in achieving departmental targets and customer satisfaction goals
Requirements:
  • Minimum IMI/NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • 1 to 2 years experience working within a workshop environment
  • UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Motivated individual with a commitment to quality work
  • Team player capable of working efficiently in a busy dealership setting
  • MOT licence is highly advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to produce high-quality work and meet target deadlines
