The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards.
Key responsibilities include:
andmiddot;Carrying out servicing, maintenance and technical repairs
andmiddot;Diagnosing faults using appropriate diagnostic and measuring equipment
andmiddot;Interpreting manufacturer technical data and repair instructions
andmiddot;Removing and installing vehicle components using manufacturer procedures
andmiddot;Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work
andmiddot;Preparing new and Approved Used vehicles
andmiddot;Completing job cards accurately, including repairs, parts, labour and hours worked
andmiddot;Reporting additional faults and delays to the Workshop Controller or Service Manager
andmiddot;Ensuring vehicles meet required safety and quality standards
andmiddot;Maintaining excellent vehicle care and workshop standards

About You
You'll ideally have:
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification
andmiddot;Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic
andmiddot;Strong servicing, maintenance and repair experience
andmiddot;Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
andmiddot;Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
andmiddot;A professional approach to health and safety
andmiddot;Ability to work independently and as part of a team
andmiddot;Full UK Driving Licence
