About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join a well-established and growing business based in Chichester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term work within a supportive environment, offering variety in daily tasks and the chance to develop new skills.

This role is split between warehouse duties forkliftandnbsp; operations, making it ideal for someone hands-on, organised, and proactive.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse andamp; Distribution

  • General warehouse duties including handling, packing, and dispatch
  • Assisting with deliveries and collections from local companies
  • Maintaining accurate distribution and stock records
  • Identifying and reporting damaged or incorrect goods
  • Supporting retail packaging and order preparation
  • Ensuring the warehouse is clean, safe, and organised
  • Operating equipment including a counterbalance forklift and stacker

Stock Control

  • Supporting stock management, audits, and stock level control
  • Working closely with internal teams to maintain stock accuracy

Administration

  • Assisting with stock data processing (goods in/out)
  • Preparing shipping documentation

Health andamp; Safety

  • Following all health andamp; safety procedures
  • Contributing to a safe and efficient working environment

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (or willingness to train)
  • Full UK Driving Licenceandnbsp; andndash; essential
  • Willingness to travel locally for deliveries/collections
  • Experience in a warehouse or similar environment
  • Ability to carry out manual handling/heavy lifting
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • A proactive and reliable team player
