Job Overviewandnbsp;

We have a fantastic opportunityandnbsp;for a Warehouse Operativeandnbsp;to joinandnbsp;ourandnbsp;Paragon Customer Communications site in Dagenham.andnbsp;Working within the Warehouse Operations, supporting all aspects covered by the department.The site contains printing, mailing and warehousing capability for theandnbsp;production of outbound and inbound document services.

As a Warehouse Operative, your main duties would include:

Loading and unloading goods, moving stocks and items of mail packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility, stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions, checking loads are secure, stacking empty pallets, performing daily equipment checks andandnbsp;performing other warehouse tasks like picking stock and moving it to the appropriate location on factory floor and dealing with stock returns.

Forklift Licence Desired (VNA Driver desired)

This is a permanent role and works on an annualised hour shift pattern.andnbsp;

42 Hour week - DAYSandnbsp;SHIFT PATTERN - 6am - 6pm (Weekend rotation required)

3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days onandnbsp;

3 days off, 3 days on

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all defined standards and processes with an SLA focus
  • Ensure any issues are escalated in timely manner and accurately to the Line Manager
  • Followandnbsp;directionandnbsp;from theandnbsp;warehouse supervisor and perform any other duties as required
  • Ensure all stock is accurately handled according to task specifics, report any damaged or missing stock
  • General tidying and cleaning of the warehouse
  • Take appropriate responsibility for maintaining health andamp; safety standards in the team

Skills and Attributes we are looking for

  • Self-motivated, organised and customer focused with a willingness to learn
  • Effective communicator with a logical and resiliant approach
  • Team Player but able to work on own initiative
  • Committed and reliable with excellent timekeeping
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines within a fast paced envrionment
  • IT Literate andamp; competent in the use of MS Excel
  • Ability to lift and manoeuvre items, such as boxes, of up to 22KG
  • Warehouse / Production experience required
